Pre-Order Pickup Policy
Pre-orders are pick-up only at our retail nursery, 5311 Scotts Valley Dr, Scotts Valley, CA 95066.
When you pre-order your plants, you are granted full access to the nursery one week before we generally open to the public, at your scheduled pick-up time. If you pre-order, you must make an appointment to pick up your plants. By pre-ordering, you are reserving* your plants to pick up during the first week, and you will browse the greenhouse with your order confirmation to select the plants that you desire.
If you are not available during the pre-order pickup week, you have the following options:
- Send someone else in your place: You may ask a friend, relative, gig worker, or anyone else to pick up your order in your place. Please provide that person with your order details so that they may browse the greenhouse for your requested plants and supplies.
- Pick up at a later date: We can only guarantee* your order during the pre-sale week. If you arrive at the nursery after the pre-order pickup week, please be aware that your plants may not be available. We will do our very best to provide you with an equally wonderful substitute, or provide a refund.
*Caveat: These plants are living beings. Sometimes problems arise with production, logistics, or germination. If your reserved plants are not available when you arrive at the nursery, you have some options:
- You may return at a later date to pick up your plants. We restock most of our plants weekly, and more will be available later in the season, unless otherwise noted by our staff during your visit. Speak with one of our staff members to arrange a later pick up date.
- You may substitute a different plant of the same price from our inventory. Ask our staff for a fabulous substitution, or pick something yourself.
- You can request a refund for that plant, or apply the balance toward additional purchases at the shop.
