German Red Strawberry

Pick-up only at our retail nursery 5311 Scotts Valley Dr, Scotts Valley, CA during the week of March 21-28.

This German heirloom produces large, red, oxheart-shaped tomatoes that are shaped like a much larger strawberry. Very fee seeds; almost pure meat. Copious amount of delicious, robust, "old-tomato" flavors with a lingering sweetness. A perfect tomato for slicing into sandwiches. Oxheart-type tomatoes have wispy, droopy foliage. If your garden is extra hot, plant them where they can get morning sun and afternoon shade due to their scant leaf coverage.

Plants are in 3" containers and are usually about 6" tall.
