Chives

Pick-up only at our retail nursery 5311 Scotts Valley Dr, Scotts Valley, CA during the week of March 21-28.

Chives are hardy, perennial herbs from the onion family, grown for their mild, oniony flavor in hollow, grass-like leaves and attractive, edible purple flowers, forming clumps from bulbs and thriving in full sun with well-drained soil, used fresh to flavor dishes like eggs, salads, and dips, and valued as pollinators and border plants in gardens.

Plants are in 4" containers, with 10-15 plants per pot. They are usually roughly 3" tall.
