Marigold, Giant Orange

Pick-up only at our retail nursery 5311 Scotts Valley Dr, Scotts Valley, CA during the week of March 21-28.

Also known as 'African Marigold,' or 'Day of the Dead,' these flowers are traditionally displayed during Día De Los Muertos to help guide spirits home with their strong scent and vibrant color. The petals are edible and have various culinary applications, such as adding to salads, making tinctures, and extracting into syrup. In the garden, they help attract pollinators and are said to ward off pests, although we're not certain that the latter claim is quite true.

Plants are in 4" containers and are usually about 8" tall.
