Melon, Sugar Baby Watermelon

The Sugar Baby watermelon is a popular, early-maturing, icebox-sized variety known for its compact size (8-12 lbs), dark green rind, and exceptionally sweet, red flesh. It's ideal for small gardens or containers. It thrives in full sun, well-drained soil, and requires consistent moisture during growth, with slightly less water during ripening to enhance sweetness. Key to harvesting is checking for a dried tendril and a creamy yellow ground spot, indicating peak ripeness for its crisp, sugary flavor. 

Plants are in 4" containers and are usually about 2-3" tall.
