For those of you who want to grow Early Girl, but are wise to the fact that it's owned by Monsanto, we offer a more eco-friendly version, called New Girl. It's actually newer technology than Early Girl. As hybrid tomatoes, these varieties are hybridized by growers seeking different attributes such as higher yields, disease resistant, marketability or shelf-life. This "technology" is owned by seed companies. We try to steer clear of giving Monsanto any business, hence our obsession with New Girl, as a wonderful high-yielding red tomato that adapts well to many different climates and uses.

Plants are in 3" containers and are usually about 6" tall.
