Sexy Beast
Pick-up only at our retail nursery 5311 Scotts Valley Dr, Scotts Valley, CA during the week of March 21-28.
A friend of ours called Sexy Beast "the perfect tomato." Sweet and beautiful, this pink heart-shaped tomato does double-duty in both salads and sauces. We love oxhearts for their thin skins and almost pure meat, having hardly any seeds. As is the hallmark of most oxhearts, they have droopy, wispy, scant foliage. They are best planted where they can enjoy morning sun and afternoon shade, unless you are very close to the coast and the afternoon sun never gets blazing hot. Those with hot gardens can throw a 50% shade cloth over their oxhearts when the days start going above 85 degrees.
Medium oxheart. Indeterminate
Plants are in 3" containers and are usually about 6" tall.
