Shishito

Pick-up only at our retail nursery 5311 Scotts Valley Dr, Scotts Valley, CA during the week of March 21-28.

Shishito is the Japanese version of Padron peppers. Pick when 3 to 4" long, still green, and fry in oil until slightly soft. A fabulous side dish. Mildly spicy. Like all small-fruiting peppers, these will branch out, giving higher yields if pinched when young. Check out this Youtube video for more info on pinching peppers.

Plants are in 3" containers and are usually about 5" tall.
