French tarragon is a prized perennial herb known for its distinct, sweet licorice/anise flavor, used in classic French cooking (like Béarnaise sauce) for chicken, fish, eggs, and in herb blends like Fines Herbes. It's a sun-loving, drought-tolerant plant with fine, dark green leaves.
